Each month, we collect One Thing for service and mission partners locally and globally.
May's One Thing: Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash for the Abused Adult Resource Center
This month, the Legacy church community is collecting shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for the Abused Adult Resource Center. For more than 40 years, they have been providing emergency support, crisis intervention, temporary shelter, food, counseling, and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Drop off donations at Legacy:
- On Sundays in worship or during Wednesday night activities
- During the week at the office (9 am – 1 pm Monday – Thursday)
- Skip the line and ship to the church

February – Cozy Blankets for Local Hospice Patients
March – Packaged Candy for BPS Social Workers in Appreciation of National Social Work Month
April – Stuffed Animals & Fidget Toys for the Bismarck Police Department
May – Personal Dignity Kits for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
June – Breakfast Cereal for Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry
July – School Supplies for Bismarck Public Schools Foundation’s Fill the Bus event
August – Hygiene Products for the Abused Adult Resource Center
September – Healthy, Shelf-Stable Snacks for Elk Ridge Elementary Students
October – Non-Perishable Food for Solen High School Emergency Food Pantry
November – Winter Gear for Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library
