Impact Offering
Each month, we receive a special offering for a mission or service organization. You can give to the mission of the month online at legacyumc.org/give (select "Monthly Impact Fund" in the dropdown) or at the Legacy office.
August’s Impact Offering: Bismarck Public Schools Foundation – Student Lunches
Throughout the month of August, Legacy will be collecting an offering to support the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation's efforts to fight student hunger. On average, there are 700 BPS students (or more) who struggle to pay for their student lunches. That's approximately 5% of the student population. BPS serves meals to all students regardless of their ability to pay, but many of those families cannot afford to pay those meals back.
Through a dedicated fund of community donations, the BPS Foundation fills this gap to ensure no child goes hungry while at school.
You can give:
- In person at Sunday worship
- Dropping by the office (9 am – 3 pm Monday – Thursday)
- Any time at legacyumc.org/give (select “Monthly Impact Fund” in the dropdown)
