Impact Offering
Each month, we receive a special offering for a mission or service organization. You can give to the mission of the month online at legacyumc.org/give (select "Monthly Impact Fund" in the dropdown) or at the Legacy office.
October’s Impact Offering: Central Dakota Forensic Nurse Examiners
Throughout the month of October, Legacy will be collecting an offering to support the Central Dakota Forensic Nurse Examiners. This nonprofit's mission is to provide professional, compassionate, culturally competent, and timely collection of forensic evidence for patients. They respond to local emergency departments in the event a victim of sexual violence presents.
The Central Dakota Forensic Nurse Examiners' clinic covers a total of 23 counties in western and central North Dakota, with an average of 24 nurses on staff who are trained to provide forensic medical exams to victims of all ages. In 2021, they opened their first follow-up clinic in Bismarck to provide trauma-informed care to individuals.
You can give:
- In person at Sunday worship
- Dropping by the office (9 am – 3 pm Monday – Thursday)
- Any time at legacyumc.org/give (select “Monthly Impact Fund” in the dropdown)
