Each month, we collect One Thing for service and mission partners locally and globally.
This month’s One Thing – New Blankets for Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center. The mission of the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center is to provide a safe, family-friendly environment that promotes hope, health, and healing to traumatized children and their families. Each year, the DCAC serves close to 400 children in North Dakota of all ages. They provide new blankets for the children who receive forensic interviews, to help them feel safe and warm. This month, let’s fill their bare shelves with new kids blankets! Our goal is 200 new blankets of any kind (fleece, tie blankets, plush, etc.). Drop off blankets Sundays at the Connection Desk, Mon-Fri from 9am-3 pm at the North Campus office, or skip the line and ship directly from Legacy’s Amazon List.
