October’s One Thing: Non-Perishable Food for Solen High School Emergency Food Pantry

Solen High School is a public education school located south of Bismarck on the Standing Rock Reservation. In addition to serving their students each day, they have been running an emergency food pantry for their local community. Right now, they are running low on supplies, and several families in the area are in real need. To sustain this effort, Legacy is collecting donations of non-perishable food:

  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • Canned vegetables and fruit
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Canned tuna or chicken
  • Dry beans
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Cereal and oatmeal
  • Shelf-stable soups and stews

Drop off donations throughout the month:

  • On Sundays in worship
  • During the week at the office (9 am – 1 pm Monday – Thursday)
  • Skip the line and ship to the church
