David said, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you” (1 Chronicles 28:20 NLT).

We’re all longing for what’s next, what church and community will look like in the next season. As we enter our 125th year, we desire to keep courageously doing the work to connect people with Jesus. Together we seek to raise $3 million over 3 years for the following projects.

If you would like to designate your gifts to a certain area, contact Shannon, our Operations Director, to set it up.

Mortgage – $1.5 million

Specials – $300,000

Our Legacy North facility, completed in 2013 and expanded in 2018, allows us the incredible ability to quickly adjust ministry in the pandemic and, hopefully soon, post-pandemic times for kids, students and adults. Now, it is time to retire the debt on all our Durango Drive property to free up resources for what’s next.

South Down Payment

Goal – $100,000

Legacy South is making a big impact! The next step is a permanent facility to make more room for Legacy Kids and creative ministry options beyond Sunday mornings.

Online Equipment Upgrades

Goal – $100,000

Legacy Online kept us all connected during the in-person shutdown. Many people continue to worship through this campus. We know it is key to Legacy’s ministry in the next season. New cameras, lights and switchers are needed for us to move to what’s next.

Goal – $1 million

Our foundation exists to not only provide for major facility upkeep but new ministries that we don’t even know we need yet. As our world changes and ministry strategies evolve quickly, we will be ready for what’s next.

ND residents can take advantage of the 40% state tax credit for gifts of $5,000 or larger to qualified permanent endowment funds. The Legacy Foundation qualifies for this state tax credit.
