One Thing Collection

December’s One Thing: Children’s Pants for Carrie’s Kids

 

This month, Legacy is partnering with Carrie’s Kids to collect children’s pants. Sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, and 14/16 are especially needed in both genders. Carrie’s Kids is a nonprofit that supports children and teens who are homeless or at risk in the Bismarck-Mandan area.

 

Drop off donations throughout the month:

 

  • On Sundays in worship or during Wednesday night activities
  • During the week at the office (9 am – 1 pm Monday – Thursday)
  • Skip the line and ship to the church

    February – Cozy Blankets for Local Hospice Patients

    March – Packaged Candy for BPS Social Workers in Appreciation of National Social Work Month
    April – Stuffed Animals & Fidget Toys for the Bismarck Police Department

  • May – Personal Dignity Kits for the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)

  • June – Breakfast Cereal for Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry

  • July – School Supplies for Bismarck Public Schools Foundation’s Fill the Bus event

  • August – Hygiene Products for the Abused Adult Resource Center
  • September – Healthy, Shelf-Stable Snacks for Elk Ridge Elementary Students
  • October – Non-Perishable Food for Solen High School Emergency Food Pantry
  • November – Winter Gear for Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library
  • December – Children’s Pants for Carrie’s Kids
