Read: Mark 11:1-11

A missionary couple I know was recently at a “what now” point.  They were unsure what God had in store next.  Were they on the right path?  Were they doing the right thing?  Voices of doubt were calling their steps into question.

That night as I consumed some daily bread (scripture), the words of Mark 11:3 jumped off the page.  “If anyone asks, ‘What you are doing?’ just say, ‘The Lord needs it and will return it soon’” (Mark 11:3, NLT).  That was it! The Lord needed them!  My missionary friends knewGod had told them to go.  The only reason needed when their actions were called into question was that the Lord had sent them.

Sometimes when we follow God our actions don’t make practical sense.  Still, if we trust God, he will move mountains and make ways we could not fathom on our own.
