What is a Life Group?
A life group is a group of 3-30 people who meet together regularly with the purpose of growing in their faith. Frequency of meetings is determined by the life group members.
Why a Life Group?
There are two goals for a life group:
- Authentic community
- Spiritual growth
We are created in the image of a God whose existence literally is community—in the persons of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit—and God intends for us to live in community as well. We also all know we are not yet fully who God has created us to be.
There are two pivotal questions that can help us live into God’s plan:
- What is God saying to me?
- What am I going to do about it?
Growth happens when we act on the area where God is speaking to us. Something powerful happens when we speak out loud the answers to these questions. We are much more likely to act on the things we name out loud with trusted friends, as we are encouraged and held accountable together.
Just as consistent times of physical training yield positive results, consistent time of gathering in small groups and answering these questions will yield strong community and spiritual growth in our lives.
Fill out this form and we will get you plugged into a life group soon!

Prayer @ Legacy
Join us for prayer every Sunday morning at 8:30 or at 10:00 on the 1st Sunday in the Community Room near Door 1.
We plant and maintain the community garden located behind the church; we also provide garden plots that are available to rent for a small fee. We’re always looking for more green thumbs, or anyone who likes to dig in some dirt. We typically meet on a weeknight from June through September. A team member oversees an evening of garden maintenance and harvest. Everyone is invited to help!
Meals on Wheels
Legacy provides volunteers to deliver prepared meals to the elderly and persons with disabilities during the month of February.
We deliver meals (homemade or purchased) to families encountering unexpected stress so they don’t have to worry about this one thing. No meetings or obligations. Just serve when you can.
Join the team of writers who author periodic devotionals to complement our sermon series. Writing must introduce readers to Christ through relatable experiences, stories or insight, and encourage faith development through Bible study.
