Why: To kick off our new school year with some good, not-so-clean, fun!

FAQ’s
What should I wear?
Things you won’t mind getting messy! The paint should all wash off, but you could also get dirt and grass stains. A white shirt might show the colors best. We will be playing water games, so ladies you may want a tank under a light shirt. Old shoes are a good idea.

What should I bring?
Eye protection is recommended: goggles, safety glasses or at least sunglasses. If you have asthma or breathing issues, you may want a bandanna or scarf to cover your mouth. Your ride home might want towels in the car. Bring $5. Bring friends (make sure they register!)

Is the paint safe?
We will be using liquid and powder paints at the event. The liquid is tempera paint and should be washable. The powder is dyed corn starch and cleans off easily.

Are the games safe?
We will play games like dodge-ball and capture the flag, which always carry an inherent risk of injury. We will have volunteers supervising the games who will try their best to control any dangerous factors. We will also have a trained RN and first aid station set up to quickly assist anyone with injuries.

Should parents drop off or stay?
They are very welcome to stay and watch! We will have volunteers to supervise, so you’re able to drop off if preferred.

Is walk-up registration allowed?
Yes, you may register at the event the day-of. But a parent will need to be present to sign the liability wavier. It is highly encouraged to register with the link above, so we can be sure to plan enough materials for everyone.

Are there bathrooms available?
We will not go into the church building with our messiness. There is an outhouse in the parking lot thanks to construction. We will have a hose available at the end of the event for a clean-up station.
