ATTENTION PARENTS OF YOUTH: We've seen some awesome growing in our youth group lately, and our youth room is getting crowded! The construction of our new building will solve this (until we grow more) but for now a temporary solution is necessary as we don't even have room for everyone to sit!  We are now meeting at these NEW, REVISED TIMES:

Middle school (7th-9th grade) meets from 6:15 - 7:15 pm
High school (10th-12th grade) meets from 7:15 - 8:30 pm

- FLYTE Faith. Life. Together. (Grades 4th-6th) from 6:15-7:15 pm 

- Nursery is offered for babies under 3 years of age from 6:15-7:15 pm.

Beginning the Sunday before Advent, Pastor Kermit will preach a new Christmas Sermon Series called: "Let Us Adore". This series will feature a theological, historical, and practical study of 7 of the most popular Christmas Hymns. Each message will be developed and shared to draw insight from these rich old hymns, that will surely enhance your observance of the Christmas Holiday, and the Christ child we gather to worship, and live to serve. The sermons will be coupled with the singing of many of your Christmas favorites, along with some new, "soon to be favorite" Christmas songs. Here are the songs that will be preached:

November 25           Come Thou Long Expected Jesus

December 2             O, Come All Ye Faithful

December 9             O Little Town of Bethlehem

December 16          While Shepherds Watched their Flocks by Night

December 23          Hark the Herald Angels Sing

December 24          What Child is This

December 30          We Three Kings of Orient Are

“The ‘Hike & Bike the Hills’ trip to South Dakota was a blast! Storm Mountain Camp is a beautifully scenic camp tucked away below the mountain with many hiking trails and great accommodations. The staff was so cordial and welcoming. We even ventured into an old gold mine at the camp with cand les to light the way. The first day we set out for a 30 mile ride. The scenery was incredible! My 7 year old who had just graduated from her training wheels the month prior made it about 17 miles which was very impressive. My 9 year o ld and the rest of the crew made it to the end and felt a great sense of accomplishment! The next day, my kids, Kermit and I went on a very enjoyable 10.6 mile ride.  We are not avid bikers so if we can do it so can you! M y favo rite part of the trip was the wonderful members of our church family that we had this great opportunity to fellowship with. They are so kind, caring and generous.” (member of Legacy who went on the trip)

HONDURAS MISSION

Josie Carlson, Kayla & Tyler Felchle, Ben & Becca Hafner, Lois & Clyde Wetzel, Selomit Zoller, Terry Kuester and Andrea Sagsveen will be going to Honduras, June 4-15: They will be working with missionary, Becky Hoshaw. Projects include working in a school painting classrooms, building bookshelves and doing light maintenance. In addition, they will be working with an orphanage and children's hospital. THANK YOU to those who gave to make this trip possible! Please keep the group in your prayers!
