SUNDAY

Outlive Your Life: In this Max Lucado study you'll be encouraged to change the world around you by getting off your knees, rolling up your sleeves, and performing works God has created you to do. Led by Sean Thorenson in the Berean Room at 9:00 am.

Join this small group study led by Marilyn Johnson of Max Lucado books on living the Christian life and living it well in Kermit’s office at 10:30 am.

Sermon Chat Back: Following the 9:00 am service, join us for a discussion of that morning’s sermon. Led by Al Roll in the Room 13 (lower level) at 10:30 am.

Chapters: Join us in the Berean Room on Sunday evenings @ 7:00 pm. This group is open to anyone ages 16-30ish and is led by Pete Jones and Thomas Carlson.

 

WEDNESDAY

“The Truth Project:” According to a recent study only 9% of Christians actually have a biblical worldview. This engaging and transformational DVD study will help you establish Christianity with a foundational perspective that is scripturally-based. Led by David Nash and Sean Thorenson in the Berean Room from 6:15-715 pm.

Focus on Friendship: The evening will include a short devotion and a project/craft. Combine that with some good fellowship and you have a relaxing environment to grow your friendships with your Legacy family. Join us in Room 14 (lower level) 6:15-7:15 pm.

Invest in “US:” A 9 week class for couples designed to strengthen their marriage. We will be studying God’s word regarding marriage in addition to “His needs, Her Needs” by Dr. Willard Harley and “Sacred Marriage” by Gary Thomas. Sign up now for this opportunity to invest in your marriage. Purchase the books before the 1st session. This class will be limited to 8 couples and will meet in Room 13 (lower level) from 6:15-7:15 pm led by Pastor Kermit.

Faith-Based Cancer Support Group: This group meets the 4th Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Conference Room (upper level, south end) and is for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. Invite a friend! Each month we have a different guest speaker, tackling a different topic. Contact Lola Schott (663-3421.)

“Mommy Group:” If you are a mom, are expecting or hoping to be expecting, this group is for you! We meet every other Thursday @ 6:30 pm. This is a great group for support in the joys and struggles of being a mom. Looking for a way to live out your faith and serve… everyone?  Join Legacy Reach. What is Reach? We're an online community of people led by Pete Jones devoted to doing good for others for no better reason than that people are worth loving and somebody has to start           somewhere. Each week I will give a new 'Reachout.' You have a week to get it done. Then we can share stories and triumphs, or struggles and challenges. We have a Facebook group, if you want to access it online. Discipleship 1: This is an intensive Bible study for those interested in studying the Old Testament through the New Testament. Discipleship involves daily reading assignments and a weekly DVD lesson followed by group discussion to reveal the story of God’s everlasting redemption. (Date/time to be determined by class participants.)

RADICAL! A small group with the goal of helping each other grow deeper in our relationship with God and put that faith into action. We will be working through “Momentum for Life: Sustaining Personal Health, Integrity & Strategic Focus” by Michael Slaughter. “THE LOSSED:” This is an adolescent and young adult survivor of suicide loss support group that focuses on helping them cope with the loss of a family member or friend to suicide. Join us every other Monday @ 7:00 pm in the Berean Rm. Contact DJ Arnold (400-2743.)

Dan Weigel, Legacy’s worship pastor, will be leading a prayer and study group that will meet weekly, Tuesday mornings at 6:30 am in the Berean Room. This is perfect for those interested in a devotional/study prior to the busyness of their day. This group will be reading the book “Embraced by the Spirit: The Untold Blessings of Intimacy with God” by Charles R. Swindoll and exploring it’s depths through prayer.
