Find your Fit

Find a Group or Class

We were created to be in authentic community. Our life groups serve as our primary place of connection for friendships and spiritual growth within the church. Groups are based on geographical location, gender, marital status and age – whatever you need to take the next step in your faith. They are open to everyone. Start growing in faith today!

Regular opportunities for spiritual growth by expanding your knowledge of God are offered on Wednesdays and Sundays in a classroom setting at Legacy.

What is a Life Group?

A life group is a group of 3-30 people who meet together regularly with the purpose of growing in their faith. Frequency of meetings is determined by the life group members.

Why a Life Group?

There are two goals for a life group:

We are created in the image of a God whose existence literally is community—in the persons of God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit—and God intends for us to live in community as well. We also all know we are not yet fully who God has created us to be.

Why a Life Group?

There are two pivotal questions that can help us live into God’s plan:

Growth happens when we act on the area where God is speaking to us. Something powerful happens when we speak out loud the answers to these questions. We are much more likely to act on the things we name out loud with trusted friends, as we are encouraged and held accountable together.

Just as consistent times of physical training yield positive results, consistent time of gathering in small groups and answering these questions will yield strong community and spiritual growth in our lives.

Legacy provides volunteers to deliver prepared meals to the elderly and persons with disabilities during the month of February.

We deliver meals (homemade or purchased) to families encountering unexpected stress so they don’t have to worry about this one thing. No meetings or obligations. Just serve when you can. Contact Ashley@legacyumc.org if you are interested in helping.

Join the team of writers who author periodic devotionals to complement our sermon series. Writing must introduce readers to Christ through relatable experiences, stories or insight, and encourage faith development through Bible study.
