Legacy United Methodist Church has been ministering to the needs of our faith family and community for over 100 years and making historical impacts such as starting Medcenter One.

While facilities and faces have changed somewhat over the years, one thing remains the same... our commitment to Christ, to one another, and to the betterment of our community as evidenced by our successful Christmas Challenge generosity and support of a local homeless shelter. As a result, our church today is an active and increasingly vibrant community comprised of over 300 households.

Led by dedicated pastors, committed staff and a strong corps of lay leaders and volunteers, there is an increasing number of ways that people of all ages and backgrounds are participating in the spiritual, educational, social and service ministries of our community. Yet, despite our long history of activity and accomplishment, there are some critical challenges that remain to enable us and our facilities to carry out our vision and mission.

In January 2010, we made a decision to change our name to Legacy United Methodist Church to better connect the generations impacted by this historical church.

Therefore, because of the legacy we’ve received, we build the legacy God desires, to leave the legacy the world needs.
